Have you ever ask your self am I giving my self the right attention? What is self care? Why is it important? Self-care is an effort we put into our selves to look after ourself, self care is a very important practice that helps us prioritise our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. 

Self care does involve any activities and choices that we make on a day to day basis to promote self nurturing, relaxation and in to our overall wellbeing.

Below are some ways you can practice self-care:


  1. Create a routine: Establish and ensure that you Set aside dedicated time for self-care activities on a day to day basis. By doing this it can help you ensure that you prioritise your needs amidst your daily responsibilities.
  2. Physical self-care:
  • Getting enough sleep: By aiming to sleep around 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night to ensure your body will recharge and rejuvenate.
  • Exercising regularly: schedule a regular in activities you love doing, like pilates, walking, jogging, yoga, or dancing, to stay physically active and boost your mood on a daily basis.
